New 24 Volt, 25 RPM DC Gearmotor
Compact, Low Current, 24 Vdc Gearmotor Develops 89 Lb. In. Torque at 25 RPM & Features Failsafe Brake with Encoder Feedback, all in one compact package.
Midwest Motion Products, Inc. of Howard Lake, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Gear Motor, with integrated Optical Encoder, the Model No. MMP TM40-285C-24V GP42-169 BR-003 EC-032. Accepting any 24 Volt DC source, including solar or battery power. This robust Gear Motor measures just 1.65” in Diameter, and less than 8” long, including the Brake and Encoder and has a keyed output shaft of 8mm diameter by 25mm long. Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 “face mount” M4 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 36mm Dia. B.C. The featured Encoder is a 2 Channel, 32 PPR, 5V ttl device, with an index pulse. (Various resolutions available)
The output of this fully reversible gearmotor is rated for 89 Lb. In. (10 Nm) torque, at 25 RPM. Despite its compact size, and weight of approximately 1.75 pounds, it’s an efficient design, requiring just 2.2 Amps at 24 Volts DC to generate its Full Load Torque. That translates into long life battery charge, very low noise operation, and lower costs for related drive electronics. Motor windings for 12V, 18V, 28V, 36V, 42V, and 48 Volts DC are available.
