Lenze Americas Appoints Director of Business Development

UXBRIDGE, MA – Lenze, a leading global manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control and automation technology, announces the appointment of Doug Burns as director of business development for Lenze Americas.
Burns is responsible for the implementation and execution of strategies to help penetrate target markets – specifically the automotive, consumer goods and material handling industries. He will manage the identification and development of key target accounts and help grow OEM sales and support capabilities.

Burns has over 30 years of experience in the industrial automation industry, holding a variety of positions in sales, business development, and management with GE Intelligent Platforms, Rockwell Automation and Magnetek. He earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University and will be based out of Lenze’s Glendale Heights, IL facility.
