Neodymium iron boron and samarium cobalt magnets are produced through a process that involves the melting raw of materials to create an alloy, forming of a powder, pressing, sintering, machining and magnetization. The new DFARS regulation restricts the DoD from acquiring any neodymium iron boron or samarium cobalt magnets that were alloyed in any of the countries listed above. Electron Energy Corporation now offers fully complaint rare earth permanent magnets for critical applications such as guidance systems, radar, communication systems, satellites, and electric motors. As a DDTC registered supplier, Electron Energy Corporation is committed to supporting U.S. defense applications with precision magnet components and magnet assemblies.
