Bosch to Acquire Elmo Motion Control
The acquisition fits into Bosch Rexroth’s strategy to expand, deepen and accelerate its business in the field of factory automation. Elmo’s joining to Bosch Rexroth is expected to significantly strengthen Bosch Rexroth’s presence in the smart factory, automation and robotics fields.
Bosch and Elmo signed the purchase agreement on September 4th, 2022. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022, upon obtaining all necessary approvals.
Since 1988, Elmo Motion Control specializes in the development, marketing, sales, production and implementation of innovative and leading solutions in the field of Motion Control.
Elmo’s servo drives and multi-axis motion controllers are integrated by leading machine manufacturers in Israel and around the world in a wide variety of sophisticated, knowledge-intensive industries where there is an utmost need for optimal performance, speed, precision, stability, smoothness of motion, repeatability, and reliability. These industries include semiconductors, robotics, autonomous vehicles (AGVs), electronic manufacturing, robotic surgery, advanced manufacturing processes, automated warehouses, leisure parks and more.
Elmo employs over 330 employees, most of which are in Elmo’s Petah-Tikva factory and are engaged in development, production, sales & marketing, and applied engineering.
