ADVANCED Motion Controls Introduces Digital Versions of M/V™ Family Motor Controllers

POSTED 08/13/2014

ADVANCED Motion Controls announces digital versions of M/V™ family motor controllersWith the addition of the DVC250A060 and DVC200A100 the M/V™ family of motor controllers has received its first two digital drives.

Model DVC250A060 outputs 150A continuous and 250A peak for up to 10 seconds at voltages from 20-54VDC.

Model DVC200A100 outputs 125A continuous and 200A peak for up to 10 seconds at voltages from 20-80VDC.

These new digital drives maintain the same dimensions as their analog predecessors and bring the total count of drives in the M/V family to 10 models.  Both drives operate over CANopen and are configured using AMC’s DriveWare® 7 software, the same software used to configure all DigiFlex® Performance™ servo drives from ADVANCED Motion Controls.

Features

  • Profile Current, Velocity, and Position Modes
  • Cyclic Synchronous Current, Velocity, and Position Modes
  • Brushless (3Φ), and Brushed (1Φ) motors
  • Safe Torque Off (STO) Functionality
  • 0-5k? Potentiometer (2-Wire or 3-Wire): Standard, Inverted, or Wigwag
  • 0-5V Analog: Standard, Inverted, or Wigwag

DVC-series drives support Sequencing, Indexing, and Jogging commands using the Motion Engine feature in DriveWare® 7.
