A start-up manufacturer of mobile energy storage products needed to optimize their product design for manufacturability, upgrade their automated assembly line for reliability and consistency, and achieve start-to-finish throughput time of 36.98 seconds per module. The manufacturer was looking for a partner with energy storage experience willing to leverage their experience and expertise to automate a new product in a new application. Solutions

Product design for manufacturability. The JR Automation Engineering Consulting Services Team worked with the end-customer and project team to identify and implement product design changes that optimized manufacturability.

Automation technologies leveraged in different ways. With multiple successful module assembly line experience, the JR Automation team leveraged their combined automation technology expertise to rethink how to apply it in a new product application for a new market segment.

Leveraging JR expertise across multiple locations. Leveraging cell test and module build expertise in Detroit and Singapore locations, combined with additional assembly and palletizing expertise in our Utah location, JR teams partnered to design, build, and deliver an optimal finished automated system that addressed customer pain points and achieved customer manufacturing objectives.
