Description

Senior Mechanical Engineer is an advanced level position ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Effective communication and timeliness are crucial. Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship for lower-level engineers by delegating project tasks and teaching necessary skills
  • Organize project requirements and activities with project team
  • Review work generated by lower-level engineers and provide constructive feedback
  • Ability to apply sound engineering solutions to projects
  • Participate in internal project meetings
  • Coordinate project requirements and activities with customer directly
  • Review mechanical designs, details, and pneumatic diagrams for accuracy and functionality
  • Mechanical system design & detailing
  • Travel to customer worksites and work independently for field investigation, installation support, commissioning, and production startup support.
  • Specifying of mechanical and pneumatic components
  • Drawing package creation
  • Create bill of materials
  • Create job releases
  • Hardware procurement
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debug of systems

Minimum Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Advanced proficiency in the following
    • SolidWorks
    • PDM
    • AutoCAD
  • Ability to read process diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • Advanced knowledge of pneumatics

Minimum Education & Experience

  • BS or higher degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience
