I need a 2 jaw robot gripper to pick and place a 20mm x 20mm x 30mm piece of aluminium. It will be fitted to a vs series denso six axis robot. Do I need to purchase a gripper that's made for the type of robot or can I make up an adapter for the gripper? Need for my final year project. Thanks for any help.
Thanks.
Would like a recommendation on EOAT designer to work with to design a de-palletizing row pick tool for poor quality full glass bottle corrugated cases.

I am interested in the name of an integrator that can supply a turn key system to install windshields to cars and trucks. They must be able to install in TN, be highly reliable and of course be a part of the bidding process which includes pre-bid meetings, etc.
Is there any cost studies and data that exists that can be shared that have been done in this industry of robots that show ROI, vs other handling systems that are used in manufacturing? I am trying to find some evidence in this industry that shows real data collected showing the cost benefit of robots and the use of robots to allow a company to become more green (efficient...less use of energy consumption).

Hi, I'm using a vacuum pump with a fitting of OD 51mm, ID 46mm. I need to find a way of connecting this to an end-of-arm tool with a socket of ID 12mm. Are there any adapters available that will let me step down the diameter of the hosing I use from the vacuum pump to the tool? Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a robotic system to assist with handling ceramic molds and castings that weigh at least 60 pounds. We have had several lumbar strains from lifting these molds because they are handled at least 10 times each by the employee. The molds are fragile. We do have robotics in the facility to dip the molds in the ceramics. Do you have any recommendations?

Hello, We have purchased a robotic arm to assist in placing circuit board components. One of the most difficult tasks we are having is deciding on how the components should be presented to the robot arm. We have approximately 100+ different components that can be placed, not all at once of course. Has anyone ran into this dilemma before or has some advise as to how we should approach this? Thank you, Larisa

What are the best resources to learn more about end of arm tool (EOAT) design for automotive material handling applications? Topics that I am interested in: - Interface design of tooling to robot (Specific to robot manufacturer or standard COTS interface plates) - support structure or frame (weldment vs. modular aluminum extrusion) - linear actuator selection criteria (pneumatic vs. electric) - location features on tooling (NAAMS pins, v-blocks, net pads, machined plastic) - non-marring materials for clamping interface to painted parts (UHMWPE, delrin, others?) - vision systems (correction/best fit systems such as robeye, Fanuc IRvision, 3D vision system) Also interested in end of arm tooling component suppliers, turnkey EOAT design Thanks
