Robotics Raises: Integra Robots, Maneva Robotics, NEURA Robotics, Sintroy, Theker Robots

We’re back with more robotics fundraises for the week of 6/15. This time out, the vast majority of VC dollars raised (92% to be exact) of that sum was just one massive deal: NEURA Robotics’ Series C round.
But round size is never the only thing that makes these deals interesting. The companies and products are the full story. This week we've got an industrial robot company building customizable hardware, a computer vision startup focused on manufacturing, an energy-focused internet of things company, and more.
Integra Robots, $1.1 million, Pre Series A
Integra Robots makes cobots for industrial tasks including packaging, machine tending, assembly, and many more. The Bangalore, India-based startup just raised a $1.1 million pre Series A round led by India Accelerator and Finvolve with participation from GrowthCap Ventures. Integra told A3 that the funding will be used to accelerate production and expand market reach.
While humanoids currently dominate the conversation when it comes to the future of industrial robots, it's good to remember that demand for cobots remains solid. An Integra company spokesperson said the company currently has interest from 140 different system integration companies.
Maneva AI, $27 million, Series A
Canadian startup Maneva AI wants to help manufacturers operate more efficiently. The company’s computer vision tech feeds live footage from factory floor cameras to its AI agents, that work on NVIDIA edge devices, to react or reinforce tasks and behaviors based on the information they take in with the hopes of finding and fixing productivity hurdles.
The company just raised a $27 million Series A round led by U.S. Venture Partners with participation from Freestyle Capital and Bling Capital, among others. The capital will be used to expand its AI capabilities, enter new industries and geographies and to roll out new agent capabilities.
NEURA Robotics, $1.4 billion, Series C
German unicorn NEURA Robotics raised a sizable Series C funding round, up to $1.4 billion, that valued the company, which manufactures everything from cobots to humanoids, at $7 billion. The round was financed by blockchain company Tether, along with NVIDIA, Amazon, and Schaeffler Group, among others.
The company states that the funding will help drive robot production to reach the multi-millions by 2030. NEURA also announced it will be expanding its network of NEURA Gyms which are real-world environments for training physical AI and robotics.
Sintropy, €1 million, Seed
Sintropy builds internet of things (IoT) AI-powered sensors and an AI platform to help companies manage and reduce their energy usage. The Italian startup just raised €1 million ($1.1 million) seed round from Maia Ventures and FPR. Andrea Codini, the co-founder and CEO of Sintropy told A3 that the company plans to use the funds for accelerating development of both their hardware and software components.
“Currently, the IoT industry requires expertise across sensors, gateways, databases, data analytics, automation, and more. We're focused on simplifying all of this for customers through AI models,” Codini told A3.
THEKER Robotics, $85 million, Series A
There are quite a few companies building robotic brains meant to adapt and learn to help make these machines more dynamic and useful in industrial settings. THEKER is approaching the same idea but from the physical side. The company’s bots are designed to have hardware like hands, arms, and more, swapped in and out to complete different tasks.
This Spanish configurable bot company raised a $85 million Series A round led by CRV with participation from Korelya Capital, Kibo Ventures, and K Fund, among others. The company claims that this is the largest Series A round raised by a European robotics startup ever.
