Bots in the News:
The Bot Index fell 1.12% last week after the Japanese holdings gave back some of their strong gains over the past few weeks. The S & P 500, however, gained 10 basis points. Also contributing to the underperformance, Oceaneering International fell 9.37% as oil prices continue to slump. Immersion Corp. slid 6.66% with no news to contribute to the disappointing stock movement.
Intuitive Surgical rose 5.56% to lead the winners within the index as both Truist and RAC upped their expectations for the stock to $650 (the stock closed at $572.47 on Friday).
Palantir jumped 5.34% as government contracts to utilize the company’s AI defense platforms continue to flow. The greatest of which is the up to $10 billion contract with the U.S. Army for software and data tools over ten years.
