Bots in the News:

Both the Bot Index and the broader market retreated slightly in last week’s trading. The bots declined less that one-half percentage points, similar to the S & P 500.

The best performance recorded by a component of the Bot Index was AeroVironment who gained 8.13%. The stock has been on a roller coaster for the past few quarters due to its extremely high valuation but tempered by the ever changing landscape for defense. . In fact the Investors Business Daily wrote, “Despite an uneven earnings performance, AeroVironment remains an industry leader with a potent 96 Composite Rating. Last week, BofA Securities initiated coverage with a buy rating and 300 price target. Analysts cited the Pentagon's push for drone warfare, TheFly.com reported. AeroVironment also makes space communication technologies.”

There were three stocks that disappointed investors last week. Amazon fell 5.05%, Zebra Technologies declined 5.89% and Azenta Corp. led the losers with an 8.14% slide.
