Small Industrial Camera with GigE Interface and Power over Ethernet
POSTED 04/27/2011
For users of analog cameras in particular the new model range offers a powerful alternative. CP stands for 'Compact' and 'Power over Ethernet'. The GigE uEye CP combines the simplicity of USB with the performance of GigE. It is connected with just one cable and offers real plug-and-play ease of use.
The new series is comprised of three models featuring CMOS sensors covering a wide range of applications. At 5 megapixels, the UI-5480CP offers the highest resolution. The UI-5220CP is equipped with a WVGA chip capable of 100 frames per second; as a third version, the UI-5240CP has a new global shutter sensor with 1.3 megapixels and 50 frames per second. It is particularly sensitive, and equally suited to fast inspection tasks and microscopy. The other technical specifications are identical to the familiar GigE uEye SE series.
Designed especially for industrial applications, its robust magnesium housing with screw-on connectors, optically decoupled in- and outputs, and an additional galvanically isolated supply connection for a voltage of 12-24 V make this the perfect camera for the job.
