IDS uEye Driver Certified by Microsoft

URN, MA -- IDS GmbH, a global leader in machine vision technology, today announced a upgraded version of the uEye driver for its USB and GigE machine vision cameras.
IDS release 3.82 boasts a range of new features and is certified by Microsoft® Windows® Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL), assuring the user of the driver's reliability and compatibility with Windows operating systems. In short, no more warning messages from the operating system when connecting the cameras. Plus, users additionally benefit from enhanced security. Going forward IDS plans to issue a WHQL certified driver version at least once a year.
Release 3.82 also boasts another interesting feature. All uEye GigE CCD cameras and now USB models UI 2140 and UI 2280 with 1.3 and 5 megapixel CCD sensors provide images with a color depth of 12 bits or 4096 gray levels.
