Allied Vision Technologies releases four Prosilica GT models
Allied Vision Technologies is pleased to launch the production of four Prosilica GT camera models. This exciting new GigE camera family is designed for imaging in extreme environments and fluctuating lighting conditions.
The Prosilica GT1290, GT1380, GT1600 and GT2450 offers resolutions from 1 to 5 Megapixel using a selection of high quality progressive scan and Sony EXview HAD CCD sensors.
The Prosilica GT cameras offer new features well suited for applications like intelligent traffic systems, traffic monitoring, public security, surveillance, military and space applications as well as demanding industrial inspection and machine vision environments.
Precise iris lens control allows users to select a fixed F-stop to optimize the depth of field, exposure time and gain, DC Auto iris support enables low cost lens control from the security market, Precision time protocol, IEEE1588 facilitates camera and peripheral device clock synchronization across an Ethernet network, while chunk data offers metadata information with captured images such as gain, exposure or region of interest. Advanced color processing, gamma correction and multiple LUT push applications even further by offloading host processes and allowing users to capture the most suitable image directly out of the camera. High frame rate capability supports behavior often required in a targeted event such as a passing vehicle in a traffic application where multiples images of a license plate are captured in quick succession to improve ANPR accuracy.

All Prosilica GT cameras feature Power over the Ethernet (PoE), a technology that supplies power along with image data through the camera’s Gigabit Ethernet interface without the need for additional cabling.
Allied Vision Technologies 6 Megapixel Prosilica GX2750 camera featuring the new Sony ICX694 EXview HAD CCD sensor is now shipping.
Utilizing the second generation EXview HAD technology from Sony, the ICX694 device provides excellent image quality, high sensitivity and near infrared response combined with low noise imaging and improved anti-blooming. The Prosilica GX2750 can output 19 frames per second at 2750 x 2200 resolution, using a single Ethernet cable connection.
The Prosilica GX2750 has a Dual GigE Vision® interface and can be used in single or dual Gigabit port configurations, supporting a sustained data rate of up to 240 MBytes per second (120 Mbytes using a single port) to facilitate high resolution and fast frame rate transfer of uncompressed data.
The camera is suitable for a wide range of demanding applications including machine vision, industrial application, medical, scientific, surveillance, ITS and more.
