IDS currently has more than 140,000 cameras in machine vision applications around the globe along with more than 200,000 frame grabbers. Recognized as a driving force in imaging solutions for manufacturing, security, scientific and medical applications, IDS recently established a Woburn, MA-based subsidiary in the United States to bring its products to the North American market.
At Automate, IDS is launching an expansion of its uEye™ camera family. At the forefront is several GigE and USB 2.0 cameras featuring HD resolution, Power over GigE (PoE), large internal memory, and exceptionally compact and rugged housings. Backing up the new cameras is the comprehensive uEye software package with SDK (software development kit), Windows® and Linux® drivers, interfaces for DirectShow (WDM) and GenIcam, along with the uEye camera management tool to facilitate fast, easy integration into virtually any imaging application.
Formerly the International Robots, Vision & Motion Control Show, which dates back to 1977, Automate now showcases the full spectrum of automation technologies and solutions.
