Dynamic Automation developed a fully automatic, rotary indexing, automated production system to assemble, bond, and inspect, Drain Bag Port Assemblies for the Medical Industry. The system consists of an 8-position cam indexing dial with four custom tooled remote feeding systems and utilizes pneumatic, multi-axis Pick and Place actuators to complete the process including inspection with only 7 stations. The system provides 25 ppm and requires no operator assistance to assemble the end-product.
