Robotic Tray Stacking & Machine Tending System
This robotic tray stacking and machine tending system to load/unload parts from trays was engineered and built by Matrix Design. The cell contains a single M20iA FANUC robot with customized pneumatic end of arm tooling (EOAT) grippers as well as mechanical parallel grippers. The clever dual grippers release or attach custom EOAT based on whether it needs to grip a tray or the small parts in the tray. The custom HMI allows the operator to easily control and communicate with the robot.
