Robot programming race: old programming vs AI & machine vision

We chose a part and asked two engineers to make the same welds using two programming methods: Teach-pendant programming was developed decades ago by robot manufacturers themselves and Automatic programming with ABAGY using AI and machine vision. In the experiment, two parameters are compared – the speed of programming and the quality of the weld. To make the competition even more interesting, we asked for the same detail to weld a person.
