What's better than pick-and-place with collaborative robots? How about pick-MEASURE-RECORD-and-place? The NSR-PG precision gripper/caliper lets you use a cobot to PICK small parts, MEASURE them, RECORD the data to a PC, and decide where to PLACE each part based on the data. For inspection: automate pass/fail sorting or arrange parts by size of a feature. For machine tending: monitor data trends and trigger an operator alert should a process drift.
