Microscan Packaging Inspection at 500 PPM

At this year's PACK EXPO in Chicago, Microscan demonstrated its Vision HAWK C-mount smart camera reading OCR (optical character recognition) inkjet print on the bottoms of cans at 500 ppm. The Vision HAWK is assisted by a strobing NERLITE Smart Series DOAL machine vision light which is triggered to illuminate each can as it passes below.
