Celera Motion’s mechatronics team designs and manufactures custom gimbals using our MicroE precision encoders and Applimotion motor components. Gimbal motion traditionally uses DC gear motors, coupled to the Azimuth and Elevation, or pan and tilt, axes. But now, direct drive motors are available for overall gimbal size reduction, increased accuracy, and decreased weight. We know gimbals are used in multiple products to serve multiple application needs. But do you have the right gimbal solution
