Economical Yamaha Robotics Conveyor Tracking and Vision Packaging

POSTED 08/24/2018

Packaging solutions don't have to break the bank. One vision camera can be shared with up to four Yamaha robots to provide an economical automated packing solution. This video features three Yamaha YK400XR robots line balancing simulated parts evenly at three different stations on a moving conveyor. A single Yamaha IVY2 vision camera shares position data to each of three robots at a rate of 75 picks per minute in this example for a total throughput of 225 picks per minute.
