Active Silicon specializes in the design, manufacture and supply of digital imaging products and technologies. This includes embedded vision systems, camera-end interface boards and frame grabbers on a variety of standard and specialist operating systems. The embedded vision systems include customized solutions typically built around the COM Express or Xilinx Zynq architecture; the camera interface boards include HD-SDI, HDMI, USB 3.0 and IP solutions; the frame grabbers include the FireBird and Phoenix ranges which support a variety of form-factors, such as PCI Express, cPCI and PC/104-Plus, and are supported under Windows, Mac, Linux, and QNX operating systems. Active Silicon also provides consultancy services for the design and integration of imaging technology and embedded systems into OEM machines and end-user systems.
