Robotmaster at Industrie Lyon 2014!

POSTED 04/07/2014

Industrie Lyon 2014 was a very successful show for Robotmaster. The capabilities of Robotmaster were demonstrated live at the Mastercam, ABB, and KUKA booths.

The Mastercam booth was demonstrating the capabilities of Robotmaster by milling two orthopedic parts with a Staubli TX90 robot.

At the ABB booth, Robotmaster was being used with an ABB IRB1600 robot for milling a custom wooden chair armrest. The robot was mounted with a dual end spindle to accommodate the roughing and finishing tools which were automatically managed by Robotmaster.

The KUKA booth was using Robotmaster to mill a wooden miniature KUKA robot. This was done by using a machining cell which included a KUKA KR60HA robot, a dual rotary table, and an integrated tool changer.

We would like to thank all our partners: 3IDM- our Robotmaster distributor for France, OSIC Carbone- a Robotmaster integration partner for orthopedics, ABB Robotics, and Kuka Roboter.

About Robotmaster
Robotmaster seamlessly integrates CAD/CAM based robot programming, simulation and program generation. Common robot programming challenges typically require intricate user intervention or costly manual editing for producing error free programs.  Robotmaster provides innovative new tools to effortlessly optimize robot programs producing error-free robot paths avoiding singularity zones and collisions, working around joint and reach limitations and optimizing tool orientations along the entire trajectory.  Robotmaster is ideally suited to program robots for such tasks as trimming, 3D machining, de-burring, polishing, welding, dispensing, grinding and painting, and supports most industrial robot models.
