OCTOPUZ Inc. to reveal new features at FABTECH

POSTED 10/30/2018

Visit OCTOPUZ Inc. at booth C13174 to see a preview of the exciting new features and functionalities to the OLP solution.

OCTOPUZ Inc. will be exhibiting at FABTECH USA from November 6-8, 2018. In the past this event has seen over 35,000 attendees with over 1,500 exhibitors on the floor and this year is expected to be even better. Taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, FABTECH serves as a hub for experts in the industry to present the latest technologies in the metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing industries.

OCTOPUZ is taking advantage of this industry gathering to provide attendees who visit their booth a preview of what will be included in the upcoming major release.

In addition, attendees will see the OCTOPUZ full offline programming and simulation capabilities through software demos and working robots running programs generated in OCTOPUZ. The OCTOPUZ team will walk through the entire programming process from importing the CAD geometry of the part to posting the code and running it on the robot.

At the OCTOPUZ booth visitors will see a KUKA KR5 R700 robot and a Motoman MH5-SM robot programmed using OCTOPUZ software to generate and run a sample welding job.

At the KUKA booth, located at C13042, show attendees will see a KR8 R2100 ARC HW robot performing 3D Printing with a Welding Wire programmed using OCTOPUZ.

Navus Automation, located in PushCorp Inc.‘s booth at C11664, will showcase a Navus Automation designed robotic cell equipped with an ABB industrial robot with an ATI tool changer utilizing PushCorp's end-of-arm tooling. Here attendees will see OCTOPUZ's simulation capabilities as the entire program will be simulated using OCTOPUZ.

If you are interested in discovering the latest features that will be added to the next OCTOPUZ release or if you are looking for an Offline Programming Solution and want to learn more about OCTOPUZ, visit booth C13174 to chat with the OCTOPUZ team of experts.
