Ellison Technologies Automation earns designation from Robotic Industries Association
Ellison Technologies Automation has become just the fifth company in North America to receive the new certified robot integrator designation, a certification from the Robotics Industries Association (RIA) that helps members showcase their abilities in robotics against the best in the industry.
To become a certified member, applicants must go through an extensive process that includes audits, safety inspections and testing. One of the other requirements in obtaining status is to have one certified expert robot technician on staff. Ellison Technologies Automation now has three as a result of the newly designated status, a distinction that will help serve the manufacturing industry.
“This is a great honor for our company as it displays the sort of attitude and drive that our employees have,” says John Burg, President of Ellison Technologies Automation. “We have a close tie to the community here and to represent the area of Council Bluffs on a global stage is further aided by receiving this new certification.”
Many industries such as healthcare and automotive have their versions of certification that helps promote their industries’ best practices. RIA is the only trade group in North America that serves the robotics industry. Since 1974, RIA has associated with manufacturers, as well as integrators and suppliers.
