These lenses are designed to provide impressive near diffraction-limited focusing performance over their full spectral range. They are color corrected for 3-5 µm (mid-wave IR) or 8-12 µm (long-wave IR) and are available in 30 mm diameter with focal lengths of 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm and 75 mm.

Uses entire dynamic range and full quantum efficiency of infrared sensors

TECHSPEC Infrared (IR) Achromatic Lenses are ideally suited for applications in FTIR Spectroscopy, Thermal Imaging and for use with tunable QCL and other infrared lasers. The new lenses offer significantly improved performance when compared to traditional singlets. This allows designers in industrial, medical, scientific and military applications to utilize the entire dynamic range and full quantum efficiency of their infrared sensors for an impressive array of diverse OEM and laboratory uses.

Doublets feature air-spaced precision crystalline lenses
