Piab's innovative EOAT for Cobots at Automate 2019

POSTED 03/20/2019

Piab will be exhibiting an innovative selection of tools designed for collaborative robots at this year's Automate show in Chicago, April 8-11.  Piab will be in booth N-8360.  Piab also has a  booth at the Promat show the same week at McCormick Place in the South hall at booth S-2388 showing ergonomic lifting solutions.

Among the EOAT solutions is piCOBOT®, a UR certified vacuum gripper unit designed to act as a flexible co-worker in a variety of production, packaging or assembly lines.  It offers the ideal extra "pair of hands".

The Kenos® KCS Gripper is a single end effector developed to handle objects of any material, surface and shape.

Customizable Bag Gripper (CBG) include everything needed for gripping bags or pouches with the highest reliability even at high speed. They come with fully decentralized (one per cup) dust proof COAX® SX12 vacuum generators, state-of-the-art piGRIP® “bag-lip” suction cups, stabilizers around the cup, and an automatic quick-release function.

Introduced for the first time at this show will be a vacuum based soft gripper deigned to grip sensitive and lightweight objects of odd geometries and/or an unusual surface.
