Midwest Engineering Systems Inc., an innovative provider of premier custom machines and integrated manufacturing systems, projects 2014 to be a positive growth year for the manufacturing industry in the United States.

Since the fourth quarter of 2013, there have been many articles surfacing that report a positive outlook for 2014 on manufacturing output as well as for the overall U.S. economy. According to the Manufacturers Outlook Survey from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) of Milwaukee, manufactures around the globe are expecting increased revenue in 2014. More than 700 manufacturing professionals responded to this survey stating that in both 2012 and 2013 70% of manufacturing companies experienced revenue growth and predict to do the same in 2014.

Midwest Engineering Systems Inc. has seen an increase in manufacturing companies interested in implementing automation and robotic system to improve their processes. There has also been a pipeline of projects in 2014 secured in industries such as agriculture, aerospace, and government contracts. “Our custom equipment and processes are engineered to help manufactures reach their goals,” states Peter Gratschmayr, Sr. Sales Engineer at Midwest Engineering Systems. “We have noticed a significant increase in the number of manufactures who realize the benefits of using automation and robotic systems throughout their operations to stay competitive in their industries.”
