Major Update to Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) Vision Software for Windows Announced

New tools will help machine builders and system integrators tackle machine vision applications more efficiently
MONTREAL — Matrox® Imaging today announced a major update to its core vision software product, Matrox Imaging Library (MIL). MIL 10 Processing Pack 2 for Windows® will give users a variety of new tools to simplify and accelerate application development including Matrox SureDotOCR™, a unique dot-matrix OCR reader, and a reliable ellipse finder. Additional enhancements include 3D cross-section extraction and analysis using the existing metrology tool and a barcode reader that works in more instances without adjusting default settings.

Availability
MIL 10 Processing Pack 2 will be available in Early Access (EA) form by the end of Q2 2016 to users with valid maintenance subscriptions through the software’s self- update service. The official release will be available in Q3 2016. It will also be available for evaluation.
