Lenze Americas Donates to One Fund Boston
UXBRIDGE, MA – Lenze Americas, a leading global manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control and automation technology, recently donated $2,500 to The One Fund Boston Inc., a charity organized by Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, established to raise money to help families that were most affected by the attack during last week’s Boston Marathon.
“The tragic events of last week are a reminder of the fragile world in which we live but also the resilience that we possess through the strength of our community,” states Chuck Edwards, president of Lenze Americas. “During the challenging times last week, we received several kind messages from other Lenze organizations around the world expressing their sincere thoughts, prayers, and support for the innocent people in Boston who have suffered so much. At times like this it’s especially important to remember the strength that comes from our local, national, and global communities.”
