Laser-Line Right Angle Prisms
POSTED 04/11/2011
Barrington, N.J. - Edmund Optics® (EO), the premier provider of optical components, introduces its new TECHSPEC® Laser-Line Right Angle Prisms. These versatile optics feature less than 0.25% reflection at the design wavelength, and are ideal for industrial and low power laser applications including beam steering and laser alignment. TECHSPEC Laser-Line Right Angle Prisms are designed with impressive

Ray deviation of 90º
TECHSPEC Laser-Line Right Angle Prisms are most commonly used to bend image paths or redirect light at a 90º angle. This will produce a left-handed image, which may be inverted or reverted, depending on the prism's orientation. Right angle-prisms may also be used in combination for image/beam displacement as part of an optical system.
Coatings for HeNe and Diode laser sources
TECHSPEC Laser-Line Right Angle Prisms are available with coatings for HeNe and Diode laser sources. They are offered in six sizes from 10 mm to 50 mm, with a 405 V-Coat, 633 V-Coat or a 785 V-Coat. The V-Coat refers to the shape that the reflectance curve makes, which has a narrower bandwidth than a broadband coating. TECHSPEC Laser-Line Right Angle Prisms are in-stock and available for immediate delivery for fast turnaround and excellent value.
