Industry Veteran Pete Kepf Joins Computar Optics Group

Cary, NC - CBC AMERICAS Corp., a premier manufacturer of HD optics and intelligent video surveillance systems and the parent company of the Computar Optics brand is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Pete Kepf as Lens Business Development Executive, Computar Optics Group.
Mr. Kepf brings over 25 years of factory automation experience with a specialty in machine vision. His background includes business development, application engineering and systems integration. Mr. Kepf’’s reputation in the industry is that of a consultative subject matter expert with an emphasis on facilitating collaborative solutions that work. He is certified by the Automated Imaging Association as a Certified Vision Professional- Advanced. Mr. Kepf has also written several articles for a variety of trade publications on the topics of machine vision lighting and controls. His previous industry experience includes business development for machine vision manufacturers, principal in a successful systems integration company, application support for an industrial camera company and product management for a lighting manufacturer. Mr. Kepf intends to apply this blend of business and technical savvy to growing Computar’s machine vision product offering.
