Hot Spot for Video on Robotics Online
Video footage on Robotics Online is on the rise with new video services provided by Robotic Industries Association. More than 20 videos about robotics may be found on the site. Each segment is linked directly to more information about its producer (i.e., the RIA member company that posts it).
“There is a fascinating new video that Dynalog just posted,” said Brian Huse, Director, Marketing & PR, Robotic Industries Association. “It stars longtime industry veteran Dan Hasley and does a terrific job explaining robot calibration and off-line programming.”
Other videos cover topics like palletizing (TSM Houston), cable management (igus), welding (Tennessee Rand), robot vision (FANUC), end-of-arm tooling for material removal (ATI), sorting and packaging (BRIC Engineered Systems).
Video footage is posted through the newly designed dashboard environment known to RIA members as the Member Control Panel. A login and password opens the door to many services for members, whether it is management of video, news, case studies, products, services or any other information about robotics.
“Robotics Online has been completely re-engineered within the last six months, giving RIA members more functionality and value for their dues investment,” said Huse. “This is an expansion of benefits at a time we must all work harder to sustain business, and members can post unlimited content for the first time.”
RIA believes its members will prosper from the networking, sales and marketing services now available through Robotics Online. More than 70,000 page views are logged each month by Robotics Online visitors according to Google Analytics. A magnet for search engines, it is also common for users of Google and Yahoo to see member content from RIA’s website.
