The EyeSens ColorInspect offers highly selective color detection by using camera technology in a heavy-duty housing with user-friendly, intuitively operated set-up software. Sensor, lighting, evaluation and result output form one compact unit.
With the color commands the user has a multiplicity of colors available. The user can choose from this wide range of colors the required color to execute the applications. EyeSens ColorInspect is designed for the control of colored products in the production line and offers not only an easy handling but the user can also respond to individual requirements to solve color detection applications.
Besides the integrated lighting of 8 LEDs and lens with 6, 12 or 25 mm focal length the EyeSens hardware has a powerful 1/3” CMOS sensor, which is available with the resolutions 782 x 485, 1024 x 768 or 1280 x 1024 pixel. Concerning the interfaces the sensor has a Ethernet and optionally a RS232 or RS422 interface available and the sensor provides a frame rate of 60 fps. Also the camera, with the measurements 65 x 45 x 45 mm (LxWxH) and a weight of approx. 160 g, is light and small and therefore ideal for integration into the production line.
With this system a broad range of applications can be realized. The possibilities range from the inspection of fuse boxes in the automotive industry to the inspection of the assembly of colored pencils in wrappings. Of course there are even more possibilities. Also the filling of cosmetics or make-up colors can be easily checked.
