Discover the new made in Italy cameras by Opto Engineering®

ITALA G series by Opto Engineering® includes Gigabit Ethernet area scan cameras entirely designed and assembled in Italy according to the very high-quality standards for which we are renowned.

Characterized by a unique design and robustness that makes them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, ITALA® cameras also incorporate the latest generation hardware components that give them outstanding characteristics.

Large image buffer

ITALA® cameras integrate a 384 MB image buffer which is three times larger than the average offered by the market, i.e. 128 MB. This allows for better camera performance when used in burst mode.

Hirose 12 pin connector

While most of the other products on the market integrate a 6-pin Hirose connector, ITALA® cameras integrate a 12-pin one. This allows them better connectivity thanks to the greater number of inputs and outputs.

Encoder control

ITALA® cameras have an incremental encoder interface for direct control of devices that integrate this type of mechanism, such as conveyor belts or stepper motors.

Serial interface

Unlike most products on the market that do not have one, ITALA® cameras also integrate a serial port with the possibility of selecting the RS232 or RS485 standard.
