CCS-EFFILUX Hyperspectral LED Light awarded gold by 2020 Innovators Awards Program

POSTED 06/19/2020

CCS, the world’s leading provider of LED lighting solutions for machine vision, was recognized among the best in the industry by the judges of the Vision Systems Design 2020 Innovators Awards program with a gold award for its VIS-NIR hyperspectral LED lighting series, the EFFI-FLEX-HSI, a joint effort between CCS Inc. (Kyoto, Japan) and subsidiary EFFILUX (Paris, France).

The proprietary wideband single LED solution has a continuous spectrum from 400 nm to 900 nm which is ideal for hyperspectral imaging applications. This light-source maximizes the benefits of LED technology for hyperspectral imaging without the limitations of using halogen or multiple narrow-band LED solutions and can be built into a wide range of illuminators by the CCS Group, including projectors, bar, ring, and back lights.

“The Vision Systems Design team would like to congratulate CCS and EFFILUX for being publicly recognized by the esteemed judging panel of the 2020 Innovators Awards program,” says John Lewis, Editor in Chief. “Each year this unbiased and increasingly competitive program aims to celebrate the most innovative products and systems in machine vision, and both teams should be very proud of their accomplishment.”

CCS and EFFILUX will continue to actively utilizing the technical capabilities of both companies to offer innovative solutions and help customers illuminate what needs to be visible.
