AVT expands Canada Location

New office opened in Burnaby, Canada. Engineers needed for R&D team.
Allied Vision Technologies (AVT) has expanded its Burnaby location near Vancouver, BC in Canada with additional office space. This new office will open up an additional 1200 sq. ft. (111 m²) for the rapidly expanding R&D team. The company is currently looking to recruit five engineers for its Burnaby location alone. AVT also has two R&D centres in Ahrensburg and Osnabruck, Germany.
The industrial camera manufacturer now counts 40 employees in Canada and expects to pass the 50-employee mark by the end of 2013. “AVT has ambitious growth plans at its various worldwide locations to meet the strong demand for its high-quality machine vision cameras. With both R&D and manufacturing, the Burnaby site has a strategic role in that respect”, says Frank Grube, President & CEO of the company.
