AUTO-SYNC function featuring a closed loop positioning
WHAT IS AUTO-SYNC?
Auto-Sync is a new function featuring a Closed Loop positioning of the motor, now embedded in all RTA EtherCAT and Modbus TCP/IP drives (Relase 3).

When enabled, Auto-Sync starts to work when the following error (difference between Actual Position and Target Position) is greater than expected, recovering the expected position and delivering maximum possible motor torque, using current ratio set on the drive.
WHEN SHOULD AUTO-SYNC BE ENABLED AND WHY?
When you have a suitable motor with encoder connected and you need to:
Manage the following error restoring the demand position automatically
Do a force work
Exploit the maximum performance deliverable from the motor
