Allied Vision Technologies at VIT Expo 2011 in Moscow

Allied Vision Technologies (AVT) exhibits for the first time with its own booth in Russia. The VIT Expo 2011, a professional trade show for machine vision and contactless measurement, will be held on April 20-22, 2011 at the Expocentre fairgrounds in Moscow.

Acknowledging the potential of the Russian market, AVT aims to strengthen its position there with its participation in the show. According to Jochen Braun, Director International Sales of Allied Vision Technologies, the leading machine vision camera manufacturer expects to showcase its know-how to potential OEM customers and also hopes to find business partners to distribute and support AVT cameras in Russia. So far, Russian customers have been served from the company’s headquarters in Germany.
Latest Camera Models
Visitors at the AVT booth will be able to discover AVT’s latest camera models and discuss their applications with AVT experts to find the best suited camera technology.
The highlights of the AVT booth are the Prosilica GX series with double GigE LAG interface combining high frame rates and high resolution with up to 240 MBytes/s bandwidth, the Prosilica GE4000 and GE4900 high-resolution cameras with 11 and 16 Megapixels respectively, the new Manta GigE Vision camera family and the Guppy PRO entry-level camera with IEEE1394b interface.
