v style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">Automated Cells & Equipment, Inc. will be exhibiting a new robot suitable for high-speed pick and place assembly at the PowderMet 2010 International Conference on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials being held at The Westin Diplomat Hollywood (Ft. Lauderdale), Florida from June 27-30.
As a leading provider of factory automation and robotics to the Powder Metal Industry, Automated Cells will be showcasing videos of recent powder metal material handling solutions and debuting a new robot suitable for light part handling and assembly. The robot will be equipped with FANUC iR Vision for guidance and part inspection and demonstrate braze pin insertion into planetary carriers. Vision images can be displayed via the Internet enabled iPendant (robot teach pendant). This cell offers a high-speed cost effective solution to the difficult material handling problem on inserting pins into holes.
