IO-Link products from Kübler
When setting up or retrofitting automation systems for future Industry 4.0 concepts, IO-Link products offer a simple and cost-effective entry point.
IO-Link is a standardized and fieldbus-independent interface that can be integrated into any Industrial Ethernet network. Replacing a sensor or switching to a different sensor technology can be implemented quickly and easily. For example, when replacing analog sensors with IO-Link products, the existing cabling can continue to be used.
With the Common Device Profile, IO-Link enables the exchange of identification and diagnostic data between the field device and the higher-level control system. This guarantees the user all the advantages that he otherwise only knows from the Ethernet environment. On the other hand, IO-Link also standardizes process and parameter data. This is made possible by the Smart Sensor Profile. It standardizes all sensor parameters, which means that all field devices can be integrated into the controller or exchanged with significantly less effort, regardless of the manufacturer, without having to accept any restrictions in flexibility.

Reasons enough for Kübler to further expand its existing range of IO-Link products.
Based on IO-Link version 1.1 (in accordance with IEC 61131-9), this includes magnetic single-turn and multi-turn encoders, which are equipped with the Smart Sensor Profile in addition to the Kübler Standard Profile, as well as their combinations with wire rope hoists and measuring wheels as linear measuring systems. For the display and processing of process data in the field there is an IO-Link LCD touch display that can display and convert 2 measured values simultaneously.
The latest member of Kübler's IO-Link range is now also a corresponding inclinometer.
Simple and fast commissioning, direct communication from the controller to the sensors, suitable for all Industrial Ethernet networks - IO-Link, the perfect entry into the digitalization of field communication.
