Security Today Announces The Govies Government Security Award Winners for 2023

Dallas, Texas – March 31st 2023 - Theia Technologies, known for innovation in optics design, was recognized among the best in security by the judges of The 2023 Govies Government Security Awards program. An independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the top entries in the 2023 categories and named winners using criteria including Features, Innovation, User Friendliness, Interoperability, Quality, Design, Market Opportunity, and Impact in the Security Industry, Technical Advances, and Scalability.
Theia Technologies’ was awarded for their innovative design in the video surveillance hardware and accessories category for their MY23F lens which provides their patented Linear Optical Technology® in a ruggedized and larger 1/1.8” format. Linear Optical Technology® lenses correct barrel distortion optically improving resolution at the edges of the image, without software or its inherent latency, making it ideal for real-time imaging applications like video surveillance and other security applications.
