Description

• Set up and try out end-form tooling.
• Modify tooling during development and fabricate parts from blueprints.
• Travel may be required to troubleshoot tooling or for machine tooling support.
• Check parts and run capability studies.
• Support fastener production and short-run production for customers on endformers.
• Pre- and post-coat polishing (after tooling tryout).
• tasks as assigned by the Tooling Development Engineer or Tube Forming Technology Engineering Sales Manager.
• Service and maintain Wauseon Machine equipment (secondary responsibility).
• Support Automation Mechanical Assembly Team (secondary responsibility).

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Good understanding of machining and tolerance with the ability to check parts and run capability studies.
• Previous experience working with CNC equipment.
• General machinist skills (preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
