Description
Electrical Design Engineers are responsible for the design of electrical and fluid power systems for Wauseon Machine’s Automation Division.
Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000/yr.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design electrical and fluid power systems.
- Participate in Risk Assessment and safety planning.
- Participate in a team-oriented phase-gate process.
- Maintain a high level of communication with weekly task list updates and reporting.
- Travel to customer sites for necessary project kickoff and review meetings as required.
- Provide technical support and training for internal and external customers.
- Complete assigned project work on time per the project schedule, within the project budget, and meet customer and WM requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Understanding of applicable standards including but not limited to NFPA 79, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and UL508A.
- Understanding of safety standards related to risk assessments, functional safety, and robots a plus.
- Willingness to travel 5%.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 365, and Teams.
