Location

The ideal location would be in the northeast or mid-west but would consider other locations for the ideal candidate. Travel would be within these regions and not limited to Canada.

Description

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and technically proficient Regional Sales Engineer specializing in Industrial Imaging.  The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting our product portfolio to existing and potential customers. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, customer engagement, prospecting, and sales acumen.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

Technical Expertise:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our imaging portfolio which consists of cameras, optics, and lighting hardware as well as software and supporting accessories.
  • Provide technical consultation and presales support to customers, helping them understand and implement our solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Provide an elevated level of post-sales support to customers in troubleshooting and optimizing a final solution.

 

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential customers within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, working closely with them to identify opportunities and propose tailored solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals through effective solution selling.
  • Communicate technical features and advantages in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate proposals, quotes, and technical solutions for customers, communicating effectively and documenting it in our CRM.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to help build market knowledge and product strategies all while supporting company revenue goals.
  • This role requires travel and face-to-face meetings.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is highly desirable, but not required with the right experience
