Description

CLOOS is looking for a self motivated and experienced Welding Robotic Sales person to support Key Distributors offer CLOOS robotic Preengineered Cells and Solutions.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Apply your extensive welding and robotics knowledge to manage, support, and grow our Private Label Key Account.
  • Mentor Channel Partner’s Sales team to transfer knowledge, experience, and the robotic welding value proposition.
  • Visit customer sites for evaluations of new opportunities.
  • Evaluate and qualify automation opportunities and verify fitment into the pre-engineered product portfolio. Champion standardization as a methodology.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to Channel Partner’s Sales team for a wide variety of potential robotic welding applications.
  • Provide Time Studies and Reach Analysis using Offline Programming Software.
  • Provide Quoting support and ROI analysis to the end user and partner’s Sales team as needed.
  • Make introductions and coordinate fixture concepting with external partners during the pre-sales and order process.
  • Provide Quoting support for applications which do not fall into the preengineered product line-up.
  • Attend Tradeshows and conferences to network and promote CLOOS visibility.
  • Create Monthly Reports/Documents as agreed with Management
    • Rest of year Order Intake Forecast
    • Weekly Hot List (Order Intake in next 3 months)
  • As needed, collaborate with the Business Development Manager to implement NPI.
  • Capable of traveling to Mexico to support CLOOS/Key Account Sales Teams (approximately 10 Sales)
  • Capable of traveling throughout US & Canada to support Key Account Sales Teams in region (approximately 50 Sales)
  • 50 - 75% Travel required
  • Located in Schaumburg, IL or within driving distance when not traveling

Minimum Skills & Abilities

  • Working SolidWorks or other 3D Modeling knowledge
  • US Citizen
  • Capable of traveling internationally
  • Working knowledge of ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Kuka, OTC, or Panasonic Robots and controllers
    • Knowledge of CLOOS Robotics equipment is a Plus
  • Working Knowledge of Lincoln, Miller, OTC, ESAB, Fronius or Panasonic welding Power Sources
    • Knowledge of CLOOS Welding Equipment is a Plus

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in Welding Robotic Sales
  • Minimum of 3 years selling Robotic Automation through distribution
  • Minimum of 5 years of Robotic Welding Application Support
