The Simulation Expert is an integral part of the team supporting our customers, partner organization and internal sales.  This position offers the right candidate a great opportunity to work directly with customers in both a technical support and technical teaching role.  Additionally, this position includes consulting work, whereby you are hands-on with the software including some programming to deliver results that align with the customer's Statement of Work (SoW).

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with software technical support
  • Customer on-boarding training and Group training sessions
    • Develop and refine curriculum ensuring relevancy with software version updates
    • Schedule training with customers
    • Lead training activity
    • Manage post training follow-up ensuring customer success
    • Manage and report out on training KPIs quarterly.  Adjust training curriculum and methodology as driven by KPIs.
  • Customer “Lunch & Learn” sessions
    • Support agenda development
    • Lead technical section
    • Manage post session follow-up as required
  • Support Sales team – as required – through technical sales presentations
  • Customer Consulting Activities
    • Lead cradle to grave efforts delivering results on-time and to Statement of Work (SoW)
    • Seek input from Finnish colleagues as required to support SoW
    • Manage post completion follow-up
  • Attend – as required – industry trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions to foster brand awareness and support order intake objectives

Minimum Skills & Abilities

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Simulation Software tools (i.e., VC, Delmia, Process Simulate, FlexSim, Etc.,)
  • Knowledge of Python programming computer language
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and / or warehousing and logistics processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Travel – domestic and international – up to 20%

Minimum Education & Experience

Prefer MS of Engineering (ME, EE, or CS)

Minimum Requirement is Bachelor of Engineering (ME, EE, or CS)
