Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Industrial Automation business to drive revenue growth
  • Deliver on the annual Business Plan by creating and closing out opportunities from a broad portfolio of offers
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospective clients
  • Proactively identify and engage new clients for industrial automation, expanding our customer base
  • Promote & sell automation systems, service solutions
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in alignment with company policies and profitability targets
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular updates to internal teams regarding sales forecasts, pipeline status, and customer feedback
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote company offerings and network with potential clients
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the industrial automation space
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and develop compelling value propositions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to deliver tailored automation solutions to clients

Minimum Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience in key account management, business development, or sales within the industrial automation industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and influence decision-makers
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Self-motivated personality with strong networking skills, allowing to proactively seek out and establish connections within the industry
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong commercial ability, enabling to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Good personal presence and presentation skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation products and solutions, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and IoT applications
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage accounts and track performance
  • Willingness to travel within the United States as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
