Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Application Engineer for Electric Motors, controls and drives, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and establishing strong relationships with our clients. Your primary focus will be on promoting all aspects of our products and their associated applications and uses.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical and application support to provide customized solutions based on customer requirements
- Develop effective and comprehensive plans summarized in cost model formats upon reviewing customer RFQ inquiries
- Assist in quoting and delivery of engineering and prototype samples
- Create test reports/presentations for submission to customers
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Build and maintain professional business relationships with customers, distributors and sales team, ensuring high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction
- Meet with customers (in person or virtually) for technical review and feedbacks
- Represent PMC Technologies Inc. at industry trade shows, conferences, and events
Minimum Skills & Abilities
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of electric motors, controls and drives systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail, and excellent organization and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive for success
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven track record of successful application experience in the electric motors, controls and drives or related industry
